Environment
Creating spectacular winter effects doesn’t have to come at a cost to the environment. Here’s how we do what we do, as responsibly as possible.
Our Approach
We are committed to making every effort to conduct our services in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way. The materials we use outdoors are naturally bio-degradable and we minimise our footprint where possible.
Our working practices are considered and our team is trained to be mindful of the locations we operate in, from city centre retail installations to outdoor countryside venues.
We also work with our partner Glice on their Skate for the Planet campaign, which sees a tree planted for every Glice panel sold, and their partnership with Habitats for Humanity which uses panels at the end of their lives to build refugee housing.
What we do
All our snow fluids and artificial snow materials are non-toxic, biodegradable, and environmentally safe — including our ProFlake falling snow fluid and our range of outdoor artificial snow materials.
Every installation we create, we also remove. Our team clears everything away carefully and thoroughly, leaving sites clean, undamaged and as we found them.

Glice synthetic ice rinks are designed from the ground up with sustainability at their core, eliminating the enormous energy and water consumption of a conventional refrigerated rink entirely. A 200m² Glice rink saves 10,000 litres of water and 12,380 kWh of electricity every single month.
