About Glice ice rinks
Glice synthetic ice rinks use high-performance Swiss-engineered panels to create a skating surface that delivers a genuine ice skating experience, the same glide, the same feel — without any of the infrastructure, energy costs, or environmental impact of a real ice rink.
The panels are fully modular, meaning your rink can be configured to exactly the size and shape your space allows. They can be installed on almost any flat surface, indoors or outdoors and set up in a fraction of the time of a refrigerated rink, with minimal disruption to your venue.

Common questions
Regular ice skates work on Glice synthetic ice — no special equipment is required. We supply a full range of skates as part of our turnkey package, or we can advise on what to source independently if you prefer.
Yes, Glice rinks work in any temperature and any season. They’re equally suitable for a summer pop-up as they are for a Christmas installation. There are no temperature limitations on the synthetic surface.
Glice rinks are designed for long-term use, they can stay in place for weeks, months, or even permanently if required. The panels are extremely durable and the system is designed to be used intensively over extended periods.
Glice rinks require minimal maintenance compared to a real ice rink, periodic cleaning and the occasional application of a Glice-approved glide enhancer is all that’s needed. We provide full training on maintenance as part of every installation.
